    Este primer número de la Revista Científica Multidisciplinaria en Ciencias Sociales y Humanidades Eucken, correspondiente al volumen inaugural del año 2025, presenta una serie de contribuciones orientadas a examinar diversas dimensiones del entorno económico contemporáneo, con especial énfasis en el contexto ecuatoriano.

    Los artículos que conforman este fascículo abordan, desde diferentes enfoques metodológicos y disciplinarios, problemáticas clave como la digitalización de procesos empresariales, la adopción del teletrabajo, la educación financiera en jóvenes universitarios, la gestión del talento humano en MIPYMES, el impacto del régimen RIMPE en los pequeños contribuyentes, y las implicaciones del neuromarketing en la rentabilidad corporativa. Además, se incluyen análisis empíricos sobre el uso de herramientas digitales en la administración de pequeñas empresas, así como estudios sobre la evolución del desempleo y la facturación electrónica en microempresas. En conjunto, este número propone una mirada crítica y aplicada a los desafíos y oportunidades que enfrentan los actores económicos en una etapa de transformación estructural y aceleración tecnológica.

    Con esta edición, la revista inaugura su misión editorial de contribuir a la reflexión científica desde una perspectiva multidisciplinaria, abierta y rigurosa, fomentando el debate académico en torno a temas de alta relevancia para el desarrollo económico y social.

    The new volume of the Eucken Multidisciplinary Scientific Journal of Social Sciences and Humanities addresses economic dialectics as a central analytical framework for understanding the structural tensions that shape processes of production, distribution, and accumulation in contemporary societies. From an interdisciplinary perspective, the collected contributions examine the inherent contradictions of the economic system, the power dynamics that permeate markets, and the transformations resulting from globalization, financialization, and technological innovation.

    In its second issue, the Eucken Multidisciplinary Scientific Journal in Social Sciences and Humanities continues the line of analysis begun in its inaugural edition, delving deeper into the economic processes that shape contemporary dynamics. While the first volume explored the economic perspectives that characterize the current environment, this new issue focuses on the challenges emerging in a context marked by global uncertainty, accelerated technological innovation, and the need for social and productive sustainability.

    The articles in this issue examine, from a critical and multidisciplinary perspective, the tensions between growth and equity, the effects of digitalization on business models, the transformation of labor structures, and public policies aimed at economic recovery.     The present issue of the Revista Científica Multidisciplinaria en Ciencias Sociales y Humanidades Eucken, entitled Society and Regional Development, brings together a set of studies that examine, from a critical and multidisciplinary perspective, the contemporary dynamics shaping regional development in Latin American contexts. The articles address structural issues related to economics, public management, informality, mining activities, and international trade, highlighting their impact on processes of growth and social well-being.

    Additionally, this issue includes research focused on organizational and business analysis, emphasizing aspects such as ethical climate in SMEs, logistics management, and digital marketing strategies in local enterprises.
